Earlier research led by this research team had indicated that male infants demonstrate a greater pain response to vaccination than female infants. The current study sought to determine whether there was a difference between circumcised and uncircumcised male infants in their pain response to vaccination, and whether pretreatment of circumcision pain with a topical anaesthetic affected the pain response to vaccination.
“What we discovered was that the infants who were uncircumcised demonstrated the least pain during vaccination,” Dr. Koren explains. Pain response was measured by monitoring the infants behaviour, including facial expression and duration of crying.

When people give up, I get angry because its easy for me to see the hope and positivity in most circumstances. Unfortunately, I have been hopeless myself and its a dark hole to pull out of. Without trying though, impossible.

The husband has a work party tonight and guess what the theme is? That’s right its a prom. Oh joy. I think there is a large group of people going all out renting limos and shit. Ugh. I’ve already been there done that and have very little desire to do it again. Wouldn’t be so bad if I already had something to wear but I don’t. Balderdash. The last thing I want to do today is find a dress I’ll never wear again. And shoes that hurt my feet. (I’m a sensible shoe person no matter how “pretty” the shoe) regardless, it will be nice to spend some time together and see some peeps I never see anymore. Maybe I should be the rengade that I am and wear jeans. This close.
